Not a flash drive alternative

The whole point of a flash drive is the ability to transfer files between PCs easily. And this application fails at that miserably. As one of the previous reviewers pointed out, you can only get files from the PC where your iTunes is installed which is fine although a bit limiting in itself. The real fun is in the fact that you can only transfer those files back to that same PC. So heres the bottom line, am I going to transfer a file or two onto my iPhone to carry them around for a couple of days and then put them back on the same PC they originally came from? I think everyone knows the answer.
